West Texas Cotton Honey is light in color with a mild yet sweet flavor. With a lower Fructose to Glucose ration than most honeys, Cotton Blossom Honey crystallizes more rapidly than other honeys. It happens so quickly that we don’t even bother to sell it in liquid form!
In addition to the rapid cyrstallization, due to the low moisture content compared to other honeys, the naturally crystallized cotton can become quite hard. Warm it gently in a crockpot on low if the texture becomes too difficult to spread.
