The Honey: Huajillo Honey is a beautiful white honey that often has a cloudy tint to it. This honey is a sweet and smoky tasting honey with slight cinnamon and peach notes.
The Plants: A cousin to the Mesquite, Huajillo (Not Guajillo…and don’t let anyone tell you differently.) is a desert shrub with curved thorns and round whitish-yellow flowers.
The Provenance: Uvalde County and the surrounding areas have long been the best location for this world famous honey.
